Recruiting BSN Instructional Track Faculty
The University of Iowa **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. seeks applicants with a strong foundation of teaching in an undergraduate pre-licensure program and incorporates active learning strategies. Instructional track faculty provide intensive teaching in classes and clinical practicums. The faculty positions in the undergraduate program are nine-month appointments in non-tenure instructional ranks of Lecturer and/or Associate Professor of Instruction. Part-time positions are available (part time positions are 50% effort or greater).
Faculty position for the undergraduate programs is available in the following areas:
Adult Medical/Surgical Practicum (2 clinical days/onsite)
Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing Practicum (2-3 clinical days/onsite)
Areas of teaching expertise of particular interest include:
Adult/Medical-Surgical Nursing (practicum)
Mental Health Nursing (practicum)

Education Requirement:
Earned masters or doctorate in nursing or related field or other educational qualifications appropriate to the position (PhD or DNP Preferred) from an accredited school of nursing.
Required Qualifications:
Established record of excellence in teaching, advising, mentoring, developing curriculum, and other pedagogical activities
Established record of excellence in service and/or professional productivity
Expertise and experience in teaching specialty
Licensed Registered Nurse and eligible for licensure in the state of Iowa
