: Etobicoke Suzuki Music is a highly respected non-profit music school with comprehensive core and enrichment programs for violin, viola, and cello. It is recognized as one of the first and finest Suzuki programs in Canada. We are seeking a part-time violin teacher to join our vibrant community
Duties
: Suzuki Violin instruction beginning September 2022, with emphasis on working with Pre-Twinkle and Books 1-3 students. Refer to “Salary” section for the number of hours. Participation in faculty and program meetings and events is required.
Qualifications
: Bachelor of Music; Master of Music in Performance preferred. SAA Suzuki Violin Book 4 teacher training or higher. At least 2 years of professional teaching experience. Excellent communication and high enthusiasm for teaching children ages 3 and up. Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
Salary
: Competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience. This is a part-time position for an independent contractor, initially starting with approximately 5 teaching hours per week of Suzuki group classes and private lessons. Potential for additional teaching hours and growth of studio.
