AEMS is an early stage Cambridge-based startup born in the engineering department at the University of Cambridge and currently incubated in the Entrepreneurship Centre at the universitys business school. AEMS applies state-of-the-art advancements in artificial intelligence to complex project management challenges and strives to deliver a game-changing solution to address persistent industrial problems. At heart, our ambition is to support large-scale enterprises achieve a state of flow, where complex projects are planned and executed at minimal friction and maximum efficiency.
Role description
We are currently looking for a part-time Research Assistant to help us to keep our product at the cutting edge of both project management and AI. The topic of your research will be primarily Engineering Management and Process Management and the role will be paid per academic paper read in the range of £30-£50 depending on length. Your specific responsibilities will be:
Reading specified academic papers on the topic of Engineering Management
Producing a 1-page and 3-page summary for each paper
Requirements
Excellent academic record - preferably master’s or PhD
Excellent written english and a clear communication style
Knowledge of Engineering Management
Ability to work in a relatively unstructured environment - we are an early-stage startup

The role will be remote.
