JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses; performing required health assessments for specified programs; conducting required screening tests such as drug and alcohol testing, spirometry testing or audiometric testing; maintaining OSHA, state and employee health records; adhering to the highest standard of confidentiality; participating in plant safety and ergonomic programs; assisting with health promotion, education and training programs; identifying and assisting with workers' compensation cases; assisting with maintenance and documentation of workers' compensation files and performing other duties as assigned.

This position will cover all shifts for coverage, including weekends.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Completion of a registered nursing program, required. Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse required.

Experience: 1 plus years' experience in the performance of nursing skills relative to occupational health nursing or relevant nursing field preferred.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Ability to work with an electronic medical documentation system.

Other Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong problem solving and organizational skills.

Travel: Occasional travel to local clinic/hospital
