Job Details:

Job Responsibilities :

· Hanging live birds onto overhead line from hanging conveyer

· Will control feed rate of conveyer and flow of birds

· Transporting DOAs & placing into take-away conveyer

· All other duties assigned by management

Job Requirements/Disqualifiers :

· Must pass risk assessment as it relates to animal wellbeing

· Use of both hands & arms required ; this is a physical job.

· Must stand on metal platform for up to 8 hours or more

· Must be able to tolerate dark/dusky environment

· Use full range of peripheral vision to pick up live birds & hang them with care

· Lift 5-10 lbs with repetitive lifting, must be able to keep pace

· Must be able to handle weights, more than 50 lbs periodically

· Bending, twisting, stooping, & reaching required to place birds on the line for processing

· Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment while adhering to all Tyson policies & procedures
