Driver/Transport Specialist, Crisis Center, Part time, Retirees Welcomed!

BH Link Triage Center is looking for a part time driver to provide transportation services to and from its East Providence crisis center. This position is ideal for retired 

police officers, military veterans or another retiree

 looking for a unique challenge. Non retirees are also encouraged to apply as well. individuals must be personable, caring , responsible and able to

work

 well with other team members.   Primary duties are to provide transportation services for clients of select community-based health centers and human service organizations when behavioral health care is needed.  This would involve transporting individuals to the BH Link, when safety permits,  for individuals experiencing a mental health or substance abuse crisis. The transportation specialist will also work closely with the BH Link

case management

 staff in providing community-based assessments and follow-up services when appropriate.  Individual must have a valid RI license and good driving record.

Employee will also be responsible for

scheduling all required maintenance for the assigned vehicle, as well an ensure that the vehicle is stocked with appropriate safety supplies.
