Job Description Veolia Water Technologies Dayton is currently seeking a part time Maintenance Technician to work in the Vandalia Ohio location.

This position is responsible for the completion of routine maintenance tasks at a location that includes office space and a small water treatment plant. This position is estimated to work 20 hours or less in a month.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Respond to Johnson-Controls alarm signals as necessary

Conduct quarterly preventive-maintenance on the basement sump pumps

Replace fluorescent light fixtures with LED light panels as necessary

Replace the batteries in the emergency lights annually

Respond to (minor) plumbing issues as necessary.  Major plumbing issues will be outsourced

Reprogram the office building thermostats seasonally

Qualifications Education and Experience Requirements:

Skills and relevant experience includes, but is not limited to:

Basic understanding and comfort level with simple electric tasks.  EX (Replace fluorescent light fixtures with LED light panels as necessary)

Basic knowledge of, and comfortable with basic plumbing tasks.  EX:(Conduct quarterly preventive-maintenance on the basement sump pumps.
