Job Details:

SUMMARY: The principle responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to maintaining plant grounds keeping areas with a professional look at all times; read and report meter readings; spray weeds; operate weed trimmers gas powered ; spread ice melt; trim bushes and plants; drive tractors for mowing, clearing, and spraying of weeds; mow grass lawn mower; repair fence around the perimeter of the facility; general up keep of outside areas with emphasis in daily trash debris removal; bringing in full totes of chemicals and removal of empty totes along with chemical inventory counts; bringing in supplies; maintain all grounds equipment. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

Communication Skills: Must be able and willing to communicate with a variety of team members including upper management giving feedback to upper management and team members. Must be able and willing to understand manuals and diagrams.

Other Skills: Must possess a valid drivers license. Must be able and willing to work weekends. Must be able and willing to operate heavy equipment including but not limited to tractors, bobcat, lawn mowing equipment, forklift, pallet jack, frontend loaders, and sky-tracks.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills

Physical Requirements: Must be able and willing to stand and walk on hard wet and slippery surfaces for long periods of time; crouch, squat, climb stairs and ladders and occasionally crawl. Must be able and willing to repetitively lift occasionally overhead, push, pull, and carry 75 pounds individually and more with assistance. Must be able and willing to continuously and repetitively grasp, reach, pinch, and hold small medium and large sized objects frequently. Must be able and willing to work in cold and or hot, humid, wet environments.
